Whipped Hot Chocolate Cream Cheese

My kids LOVE hot chocolate and marshmallows. They can’t ever get enough of it. After playing outside, asking for hot chocolate is usually the first words out of their rosy faces. I created this Whipped Hot Chocolate Cream Cheese with that love in mind. It really is amazing and scrumptious! I used prepared hot chocolate, marshmallows, and plain cream cheese. That’s it, just three ingredients to the yum! It is so simple to make.

My kids prefer the whipped cream cheese to the traditional cream cheese. They like the texture of this hot chocolate cream cheese better because it is less thick than regular cream cheese. My recipe is more like the whipped cream cheese in that it is less dense and less thick, and more smooth and soft. This cream cheese is awesome on a bagel or toast for breakfast or a snack.

Make it a Double Treat & Pair it with Hot Chocolate

When the kids come in all full of winter fresh air with red cheeks and they ask for hot chocolate, surprise them with a bagel smeared with my Whipped Hot Chocolate Cream Cheese to go with it. They will smile from ear to ear as they enjoy this double hot chocolate treat. Spread this cream cheese on a Ritz crackers, add a small marshmallow in the center, and sprinkle about five to seven mini semi-sweet chocolate chips around the edge. This is so good, you have to try it! Your kids will love these! Make them look like snowmen for added fun.

The combination of the salt and flakiness from the Ritz cracker, the cream cheese, chocolate, and marshmallows is a simple yet divine treat.

Spread the Whipped Hot Chocolate Cream Cheese on Ritz crackers and add a small marshmellow and mini chocolate chips.

This flavored cream cheese takes only minutes to make using a food processor. It will last in the refrigerator for many days, as long as the expiration date for cream cheese on the package. My family eats it within days however because they love it so much.
