Tangy Homemade Cilantro Lime Salad Dressing

I love cilantro lime salad dressing, it is one of my favorite dressings. It’ so delicious on a salad or as a vegetable dip. I’ve made my own recipe for Tangy Homemade Cilantro Lime Salad Dressing and it’s zingy, tangy, and scrumptious! The dressing is a delicious summer time salad dressing. I love cucumber slices dipped in it as well.

The more delicious I can make a salad, the more likely I will want to eat it and the more I will crave it. Summer is a great time to consume tons of salads due to the many local farmer’s markets and the many fruits and vegetables in season. This dressing is tasty anytime of year,  but summertime is my favorite time to have it poured over a salad. I love this salad dressing on a salad on the patio with a glass of white wine in the summer. It makes a great start to any grilled meal.

I also pour cilantro lime dressing over my recipe for Veggie Avocado Egg Salad. I’ve used prepared cilantro lime salad dressing like @Briannas as well for this delicious salad.

The Ingredients for this Dressing

The ingredients are very common and easy to find. They include olive oil, garlic, half and half, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, ground red pepper, cilantro, milk, olive oil mayo, and sugar. This recipe makes 1 1/3 cups of dressing and needs to be stored in the fridge due to dairy ingredients. The dressing could be poured over any salad, but the ingredients of the salad in the picture below include one handful of sweet butter lettuce, carrot slices, cucumber slices, mini sweet red and orange tomatoes, once slice of fresh mozzarella cheese broken into pieces, and scant 1/4 cup Tangy Homemade Cilantro Salad dressing per serving.

Hi Julie. I made a the cilantro lime salad dressing last night, and it was a hit! Amazing recipe, I used some other ingredients for the salad as I like to play with the flavors and included a pear and some dried cranberries. I have to congratulate you for the blog. Looking forward to read the rest of the posts.
