If you have visited my blog before, you probably know I am a vegetarian. I post vegetarian (and vegan) recipes. Plus, I create recipes that are hybrid recipes which make a meal work for families composed of both vegetarians and meat-eaters (just like my own family:). This vegan seasoning is a perfect way to add in flavor to a recipe that both vegans/vegetarians and meat-lovers will enjoy because it adds a savory chicken flavor (other flavors also available).

Healthy Meal Prep Using Vegan Spices

As a vegetarian, I’ve often wished I could find a product to create healthy meals and soups full of flavor without using animal-based bouillon cubes. I found a product fitting that exact criteria using Smile Blends Vegan Seasonings. It is called Nutritional Yeast Chick’n Flavor Vegan Seasoning.

How to Use this Seasoning

I love this product because it can be used in healthy meal prep to flavor dishes for lunch and dinner in a healthy way including:

  • toast
  • bagels
  • popcorn
  • sandwiches
  • fries
  • soups
  • vegetables
  • pasta
  • baked potato
  • in dips
  • in salad dressing
  • sprinkle it on anything!

This seasoning adds a delicious flavor to breakfast too! One morning I sprinkled it over guacamole spread across a toasted blueberry bagel and topped it with a slice of tomato. It is delicious this way as a vegan breakfast, or vegetarians can add parmesan cheese shavings. So super yum!

Breakfast Bagel Recipe:

  • toasted blueberry bagel
  • guacamole
  • sprinkle with Smile Blends Chick’n Flavor Vegan Seasoning
  • slice of fresh tomato
  • add shavings of Parmesan cheese for vegetarian open-faced breakfast bagel sandwich (of course, use vegan cheese to make it vegan or enjoy without any cheese)
