A favorite holiday movie at my house is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” by Dr. Seuss. We love watching all forms of the Grinch story, old and new. I’m sharing a fun holiday beverage The Heart-Filled Grinch Punch, a Christmas Mocktail to go along with this classic story. This kiddie cocktail recipe is non-alcoholic so everyone can enjoy it: kids, adults, and those who desire a tasty alcohol-free drink. This drink is delicious and fun to drink! You will love it this holiday season:)

This yummy Christmas beverage is kid-approved and the major bonus, it’s super easy and quick to make! It is perfect for a holiday movie night activity when the kids are off of school. I make this Grinch Punch in my small blender meant for one serving size and just repeat the quick recipe for each person. I use the blender below. It works well and we’ve used it for several years.

My whole family fell in love with this holiday drink, I hope yours does too! It’s so good!!

Supplies to Make this Holiday Drink Recipe

BELLA (13586) Personal Size Rocket Blender, 12 Piece Set, Stainless Steel & Black

I use regular BBQ/kabob wooden skewers and break them in half for the strawberry garnish. The strawberry garnish symbolizes the larger heart of the transformed Christmas-loving Grinch.

More festive garnishes ideas include adding a green grape, lime wedge, fresh cranberries, or raspberries to the stick. An apple slice is another idea for a garnish for this beverage recipe. For a treat, add a marshmallow to the skewer to symbolize the snow.

I love to serve this Grinch Punch in stemless wine glasses so the fun colors of the drink are visible.

Holiday Classic Family Movie Night

I adore watching the Grinch every Christmas season with my kids. It’s so fun to revisit this classic story and watch the beloved Grinch character as he transforms from a grump to a joyful and spirit-filled Christmas loving guy. It never gets old to pop this show into our DVD player…love watching this holiday classic! I love watching him as he becomes heart-filled and his heart grows giant inside his chest.

Make the family fun event even more fun by serving your family a glass of Grinch Punch:)

Ingredients to Make Grinch Punch

There are only 4 ingredients needed to make this easy-to-make yummy Grinch Punch recipe:

  • fresh strawberries (divided, puree 2-3 for 2 Tbsp. strawberry puree and 1 for the garnish)
  • 1/3 c. apple cider
  • 1 cup lime sherbert
  • 1 Tbsp. strawberry pancake syrup

And that is all that is needed! Super simple, super easy, super delicious!

How-to Directions:

Puree 2-3 strawberries in a food processor (2-3 depending on the size) to get 2 Tbsp. pureed strawberries. Set aside.

Add 1 c. lime sherbert to the blender. Add 1/3 c. apple cider. Lastly, add the 1 Tbsp. strawberry pancake syrup to the blender. Blend.

Pour into a glass. Pour the strawberry puree onto the top of the beverage. Stir only slightly to keep the separation of the red and green color on the top of the beverage, and the green on the bottom of the cup. Add the strawberry (half or whole) on a wooden stick to the cup as the garnish. Serve immediately.
