Looking for a meal that is easy to compile and delicious? This Air Fryer Yogurt Quiche Recipe is exactly that! Even my thirteen-year-old loves this quiche and said it’s his favorite quiche recipe I’ve created so far. It’s a quick prep then pop it in your air fryer, ready in about 50 minutes. This recipe is low in fat and high in protein as well.

I’m creating a quiche cookbook so I’ve been making quiches for many months. I’ve been testing out recipes, tweaking them, re-making quiches to perfect them so my family has eaten a lot of quiches this year! I am almost ready to compile and release the cookbook! It’s been a long haul! Watch for it to be released soon on Amazon (fall of 2022).

My first cookbook is One Dish Two Diets and provides meals for split-table families who need both vegetarian and meat-containing meals. It’s a midwest-cooking-inspired book since I’m from Minnesota. You can find more information about the book and access buying it here: https://amzn.to/3RSOrbH

It’s available in ebook form, print book, and audiobook. The audiobook has the ebook included.

Air Fryer Yogurt Quiche Recipe

This is a recipe that is easy to get ready in a hurry and it’s delicious! You do need an air fryer to make this recipe. What I love about this recipe is how quickly I can make it and how amazing it tastes. Even my thirteen-year-old loves it! So that makes it a winner! That’s definitely the true test of a recipe if a kid likes it! I adore quiches because as a vegetarian it’s a great way for me to get protein. Plus, it’s a one-pan meal for my family and I can add meat to half of it for the meat-eaters in my family.

This recipe makes a smaller pan of quiche than the usual quiche recipe I cook. For this reason, I either add in other side items or perhaps meat to go along with the meal, or I only serve it when fewer of my family members are eating the meal. Since it’s made in a small one-quart dish, it makes four pieces of quiche.

It makes for a great lunch item as well as breakfast or brunch. Eggs for dinner are a great option too!

Benefits of Using an Air Fryer

I adore my air fryer. It’s a big unit, it reminds me of a big egg, but it definitely has its benefits. There’s no preheating time needed for an air fryer so you can get your meal into the oven quicker, and ready faster.

Many foods can be made in a healthier fashion because less or no oil and/or butter are necessarily needed to cook the foods. It really makes food taste great! Foods that might normally need to be fried to be good, such as french fries or fish, are just as delicious (or better) in an air fryer. Best of all you can reduce or eliminate oil/butter to make the recipe.

I like using my air fryer also because it frees up my oven for other uses with the main dish in the air fryer. It’s worth the investment and counter space! I actually keep mine in the pantry on a shelf though and I just pull it out when I need it.

Air fryers are a very straightforward kitchen tool to learn and use.

I also like that foods can be cooked right in the tray of the air fryer too. My tray comes apart so it can be easily washed. It’s always easy to clean the tray too because the foods tend to not get caked on the tray as they do often on a pan in the oven.

I find cooking spray works better to grease pans used in the air fryer than oil.

I highly recommend an air fryer for your kitchen!

I love the soft texture of this dish. Plus, the juiciness from the tomatoes makes each bite burst with moistness. The sweet corn adds a touch of sweetness and the cheese, eggs, and the yogurt adds protein and substance to the dish. This a great recipe to add to your regular wheelhouse of recipes for your family or even for yourself. Since this makes a smaller dish, it’s great for a single person or couple as well.

This recipe, like many quiche recipes, is just as good leftover as fresh.
