Making Online Photo Christmas Cards Should be Easy and Fun!
How can you customize a card, get it with a simple straightforward easy process, and end up an amazing card in the end? Check out http://basicinvite.com/ I did, and I love my card! I can’t wait to show it to family and friends!
Card creation with Basic Invite is fabulous, easy, quick, and also provides people with many choices to pick from–which is so much fun! It’s a winning experience! I think the hardest part of making cards should be picking the best photos, not the making of the card itself. Isn’t that true? It’s so hard to pick just a few photos that you want because with modern day technology we get so many good pics just using our phones. Choosing just a few for the once-a-year holiday card becomes quite the daunting task! When I made my Christmas card with Basic Invite, my longest phase of the process was the picking of the photos!
Once I finally chose my final pics, making the actual card was fast. I choose the 3+ photos filter and scrolled to the five pic cards and away I went! I chose a style of card. Next, I simply uploaded my pics, adjusted them to the proper framing I wanted, typed the text, chose my options (with over 180 color options), and ordered. It was done in literally minutes. Every part of the card can be customized with your color choices, and you can foil anything (in gold, rose gold, or silver foil). And the best part is you get to see a preview of your card instantly!
Holiday Photo Christmas Cards Made MEGA EASY!
Can it get better? Yes, it can! Basic Invite has it figured out! They make it so easy to make the cards and then they even offer a service to address, stamp, and mail your cards for you! Talk about making the holidays less stressful! They will do it all! You can upload all your family and friend’s address and they can do the full service without you even touching a card! Now that’s an amazing time saver during the busy holidays to get your cards out! The never-ending addressing of envelopes is seriously my least favorite part of the whole holiday card sending process. They fixed that!

Ways to Make Choosing Photos Easier
One of the ways I make it easier on myself for choosing photos for an online photo Christmas card is that I have a folder in my photos app on my phone labeled “Christmas Card”. I keep it on my brain all year long, and the folder in my photos app also reminds me, so then I send pics I like to that folder as I take them. Then I have a smaller collection to choose photos from rather than the overwhelming amount of all my photos from the entire year.
Taking photos on purpose for a Christmas card and then plopping them in the designated folder is also another helpful way I’ve made photo selection easier on myself. This is especially helpful for getting full family photos of us all. It’s super easy to get pics of all five of us when we’ve taken pics while on vacation, but if we don’t go on a vacation for the year, then I need to be intentional about getting family pics. Some years I’ve been more successful at this than others. This year… LOL…not so much! So, I made a card of pics of the kids and pets with individual pics, no group photos this year! But with so many options on the website, I found this easy to do.

Can’t Narrow Down Your Choices?
You don’t have to! On Basic Invite you can even choose a multi pic option. Just choose an online photo Christmas Card with 8, 9, or 10 slots. That sounds like a lot, but it actually looks like a very nice collage. Especially the photo strip cards, because that’s how photo strips naturally are with many photos in a row. There are times when we just can’t narrow it down, and this is a great option to fit that scenario.
Have a Special Event Just Happen or Coming Up? Why not celebrate that with your card?
Did you just have a baby or are you expecting? Use a pic of your new baby or a pregnancy pic of yourself in your card. It’s a great way to let people know about the new joys in your life while you are wishing them happy holidays!
I love the “Merry and Pregnant” theme! What a fun way to show everyone your beautiful baby bump! What a fun way to introduce everyone to the upcoming new member of your family!
But if the baby is already here… why not make them the star of the card!
Or you could use a family photo to celebrate your new babe! I love this one below with the parents looking at their baby. This shows the baby is the star of their life and of the pic! You can send this kind of message with your card too!
Celebrate with an Image of you and your pet!
Have a new pet or just want to show people your fluffy loved one? Do a pet themed card like these examples below. Everyone loves to see pictures of your pets! It’s cute overload! Pet pics make us all smile.
Another great way to customize your holiday celebrations is to create Christmas party invitations to make your party invite extra personalized!
Vacation Photos are Always a Fantastic Choice!
My family loves to use a family photo from a vacation for our card if we took a family trip that year. It’s a great way to showcase your whole family in a fun and unique location. This gives all your friends and family, especially those you don’t see often, a super fun visual update on how the kids are growing!
I love these beautiful beach pics!
Don’t have a good pic? That’s ok!
If you don’t have a good pic for the year, you can still design a beautiful holiday card. Basic Invite also gives you the ability to design a card without a pic. Or you can make stationary on their site as well. They also have many other very cool and fun options including blank lined recipe cards, stickers, address labels, thank you cards, note cards, and even full printed recipe cards (a great gift idea to add in if you are giving cookies, a loaf of bread, or a basket of homemade foods as a gift).
