It is an own voices book and was inspired by actual weather in Minnesota several years ago when a polar vortex storm closed school for four days in a row. It’s a romantic comedy about seven eighteen-year-olds who find themselves snowbound in a cabin together and they must learn to not only survive and get along, but fix ‘adult’ problems. It’s high emotion, full of deep raw feelings, and full of fresh new (and old) amazing romances and friendships! Not only do they need to learn to get along despite their differences, but they must also navigate a painful secret Ashely is hiding, and trying to heal from.
