Enjoy this yummy recipe on Christmas Eve at happy hour, while relaxing Christmas Day, or even New Year’s Eve! I have a non-alcoholic version of this recipe too, the Heart-filled Grinch Punch, click here for the mocktail, kiddie cocktail version.
You’ll love this Grinch Drink! Not only is it scrumptious, but it’s a pretty color for the holidays too making happy hour even more enjoyable during the holidays.
I love this recipe because it is so super easy and quick to make. I make it in a single serving style using my handy little one serving blender pictured below. This blender works great and since this recipe is so fast, it’s not hard to be the party bartender when making several in a row. Love it!
We make coffee drinks in this blender all the time. Great for smoothies too.
How to Make this Grinch Drink
Any blender works, but as I mentioned above, I love the single serve blender pictured below for this recipe. This personal size blender is also nice because the top can serve as the cup as well making this a very convenient way to make beverages. It does come with lids also which makes it perfect!
I love to use a see-through stemless wine glass for this holiday beverage so it’s prettiness shows through. When I’m making several for guests at a holiday party, I just pour the drink into stemless wine glasses. This Grinch Drink is an enjoyable happy hour beverage during the holiday season!
Purchase wooden kabab skewers for the garnish for the Grinch Drink. I use a whole strawberry speared on the skewer for a garnish, symbolizing the new and improved larger heart of the Grinch! A slice of lime is also a nice garnish addition. Feeling like making it even more festive? Add fresh raspberries to your skewer;)
Ingredients Needed to Make this Yummy Holiday Grinch Drink (for Adults only)
The ingredients are as follows:
- 3-4 fresh strawberries (2-3 will be pureed for 2 Tbsp. strawberry puree and one whole strawberry for the garnish)
- 1 cup lime sherbert
- 1 Tbsp. strawberry syrup (pancake syrup)
- 1/3 c. apple cider
- 1/4 c. raspberry flavored vodka
Puree 2-3 strawberries in a food processor to make 2 Tbsp. strawberry puree. Set aside.
Add the following to the personal sized blender: 1 c. lime sherbert, 1 Tbsp. strawberry syrup (strawberry pancake syrup), 1/3 c. apple cider, and 1/4 c. raspberry flavored vodka. Blend until smooth.
Stir the strawberry puree into the drink.
Garnish the Grinch Drink with a skewer stabbed through a whole strawberry. Serve immediately.
A festive holiday beverage to enjoy at happy hour! So yummy and delicious!
