Hidden Cauliflower Crust Margherita Pizza

My Hidden Cauliflower Crust Margherita Pizza recipe is so delicious! Added hidden veggies inside the crust adds more fiber and healthy cauliflower to this pizza. For those who want the health benefits of cauliflower but dislike the flavor of it, this will be a favorite because it doesn't have the cauliflower taste. This is a yummy vegetarian pizza, however top with meat as desired for a meatless portion and meat containing portion. Great for when some members of the family want Meatless Monday yet others want meat.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 oz riced cauliflower, Bird's Eye with lightly sauced Italian cheese
  • 1/2` cup fresh basil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce, Ragu
  • 6.5 oz pizza crust mix, Betty Crocker
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 tomato large, sliced
  • 1/2 carton baby bella mushrooms sliced

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Bird's Eye riced cauliflower with lightly sauced Italian cheese in the microwave per directions on the package. Prepare the Betty Crocker Pizza Crust mix by adding water per instructions on the package. Combine the riced cauliflower with the pizza crust mix, stir well and let it sit for 5 minutes, according to the package. Spray a 9x13 glass pan with cooking spray. Spread crust to cover the pan.
  • Spread 1 cup of Ragu pizza sauce to cover the crust.
    Spread the pizza sauce across the crust to cover it in this recipe for Hidden Cauliflower Crust Margherita Pizza.
  • Top sauce on pizza crust with 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup fresh basil, slices of tomato, and baby bella mushrooms.
  • Cook pizza at 450 degrees for 28-30 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting.

Notes

This pizza is best eaten fresh, however I love it leftover the next day too. Mix it up and try other toppings to suit your taste.
Add more cauliflower to your diet without the taste of cauliflower. Trust me, you will love it!
