Easy Two Ingredient Make Your Own Fresh Butter

Homemade fresh butter in minutes is so easy. All you need is heavy whipping cream, salt, and a mixer. Just mix until the liquid separates from the solid, pour off the liquid and add salt or other spices to make a delicious easy treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Pour 2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream into mixing bowl attached to a mixer. Turn mixer on and mix at medium speed for about 15-18 minutes until the liquid separates from the solid.

  • Pour off the liquid and keep the solid. Add salt 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon to taste. Other ingredients to flavor the butter could also be added as well (suggestions listed previously in the text above). Mix well with the mixer on medium for a few minutes until thoroughly mixed.
    Drain off the liquid from the solid when making butter from heavy whipping cream.
