Hawaiian Bread Spinach Quiche

This is tasty quiche made with Hawaiian Bread, spinach, and is half meat, half vegetarian. This hybrid recipe will feed both vegetarians and meat-eaters from one recipe. It's an easy to make recipe made with common ingredients.

  • 1 9x13 inch glass baking dish
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 large spoon
  • 1 knife
  • 1 measuring cups
  • 1 measuring spoons


  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves, packed
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons onion, diced
  • 3 cups Hawaiian Bread sub rolls in cubes
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 cups skim milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed ham
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil


  • In a small bowl, combine parsley flakes, dry mustard, salt, and diced onion. Stir.
  • In a large bowl, combine Hawaiian bread cubes, spinach leaves, shredded mozzarella cheese, and onion mixture. Toss thoroughly to mix.
  • Beat eggs with skim milk in a separate bowl.
  • Coat a 9x13 inch glass baking dish with coconut oil using a paper towel or napkin to cover the bottom and sides of the pan.
  • Press ham into 1/2 of the dish.
  • Sprinkle bacon bits over ham.
  • Cook uncovered for 55 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove and let sit for 10 minutes. Cut. Serve immediately.
