Breakfast Oatmeal Bar Self-Serve Toppings
Make a DIY self-serve Breakfast Oatmeal Bar using different toppings such as fresh fruit, dried fruit, brown sugar, and honey. This is a great plan for breakfast, brunch, or lunch where each person can choose their own toppings for their bowl of oatmeal making this a highly customizable meal option. This is an easy prep meal that works great for families or when feeding house guests.
- 1/2 cup mango
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup raisins golden
- 6 packets oatmeal, steel cut
- 4 1/2 cups water to make oatmeal
- 1/2 cup honey approximate
- 1/2 cup strawberries
Dice all fruit and add to individual bowls.
Add brown sugar, raisins, and nuts to individual bowls. Set out bowls in a line like a buffet.
Prepare oatmeal according to package instructions. Better Oats brand's directions calls for 3/4 cup of water per packet of oatmeal.
Add desired toppings and enjoy.
