Yogurt Jello Easter Eggs

Yogurt Jello Easter Eggs is an easy recipe your family will enjoy on Easter. This is a super easy recipe that will add some fun color and tasty flavor to your Easter holiday spread. Add this to your table and your kids will gobble them up. They are a gorgeous color red using cherry or raspberry Jello, but any flavor Jello could be used to add a variety of colors. I love making these eggs at Easter and my boys look forward to Jello eggs each year. With yogurt added in, these eggs add protein and calcium to their Easter plates.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tablespoon oil to grease egg mold
  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 6 ounces Jello packet, cherry or raspberry Use any flavor
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Grease egg mold with oil by dipping a napkin or paper towel into oil and wiping egg mold cups on both sides. Boil 1 1/2 cups of water. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt and packet of jello and stir. Stir until jello and yogurt are dissolved.
  • Close egg mold tray securely. Pour mixture into small top openings in egg mold tray using a measuring cup with a spout.
  • Fill egg molds to the top on the six egg molds in the tray. Pour the remaining mixture into small cups or bowls or a second egg mold tray to make more eggs. Refrigerate for three or more hours.

  • Pry top tray of egg mold up on both sides using a butter knife. Gently ease eggs out by shaking lightly or loosening with a butter knife.

  • Eat immediately or store in the fridge.
