Hawaiian Bread Spinach Quiche
This is tasty quiche made with Hawaiian Bread, spinach, and is half meat, half vegetarian. This hybrid recipe will feed both vegetarians and meat-eaters from one recipe. It's an easy to make recipe made with common ingredients.
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves, packed
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons onion, diced
- 3 cups Hawaiian Bread sub rolls in cubes
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 eggs
- 3 cups skim milk
- 1 1/2 cups cubed ham
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
In a small bowl, combine parsley flakes, dry mustard, salt, and diced onion. Stir.
In a large bowl, combine Hawaiian bread cubes, spinach leaves, shredded mozzarella cheese, and onion mixture. Toss thoroughly to mix.
Beat eggs with skim milk in a separate bowl.
Coat a 9x13 inch glass baking dish with coconut oil using a paper towel or napkin to cover the bottom and sides of the pan.
Press ham into 1/2 of the dish.
Sprinkle bacon bits over ham.
Cook uncovered for 55 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove and let sit for 10 minutes. Cut. Serve immediately.
